What’s Inside this Program
Here’s a look at what you’ll be learning:
Week 1: Picking Your Focus
To kick off this course, I’m going to help you identify what topics you could focus your podcast on and help you pick a niche. My goal is to help you find the sweet spot between what you’re passionate and knowledgable about! I’ll also be sharing some guidance on how to pick an original name that will attract your ideal audience.
Week 2: Establishing Your Branding
Now that you know what you’re going to be focusing on and you’ve finally settled on a name, we’re going to build out a full style guideline for your brand!
In this second module, I’ll go over the steps to secure your branding and help you establish your podcast’s logo, cover art, color palettes and social templates. These are steps that some people can get hung up on, but I’ll show you some easy and affordable ways to do create these things from scratch. No design skills necessary!
Week 3: Episode Brainstorm & Scripting
Have you ever heard the phrase “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail?” This quote couldn’t ring more true! One of the best ways to set yourself up for success in the podcasting world is to always be a step ahead and plan your episodes in advance.
In module 3, I’ll go over my exact framework for brainstorming new topic ideas for episode so you never run out of ideas. I’ll also teach you how I write out my outlines and scripts for episode which is a total lifesaver when you finally sit down to record! The key to having a successful podcast is by being consistent and the tactics you’ll learn in this module will help get you on the right track.
Week 4: Equipment & Recording Tips
Some of the most common questions I get about podcasting is what equipment do you use, how much did it cost and what does your podcast set up look like? A big misconception about podcasting is that you need to invest a ton of money into fancy equipment and you have to have the “right personality” for it. This couldn’t be more wrong! I believe everyone has a story to share and confidence can be built up with each and every episode you put out.
In module 4, I’ll give you an overview of what equipment you’ll need to get started and share recommendations for different price points. You’ll also learn some of my essential recording tips to ensure that you have a high quality podcast recording.
Week 5: Post-Production
We’re almost to the finish line! At this point, you’ll have the first few episodes of your podcast recorded and we’ll be ready to tackle how to edit them. Completely new to editing audio? No worries! In this module, I’ll teach you the basic editing techniques you need to know to make your podcast sound high quality.
I’ll share some of my preferred editing software options for different budgets and will walk you through the basic settings you need to know. We’ll also go over how to pick a hosting service that works best for you and your content!
Week 6: Your Launch Roadmap
The last module in this course is all about putting together a promotional plan for your launch and how to set yourself up for success by scheduling out posts in advance! I’ll be walking you through how you can easily distribute your podcast to the major streaming platforms and what information you should be putting in your descriptions to help with search.
Lastly, I’ll help you build out your podcast’s launch strategy so you can finally tell the world that your podcast is live! I’ll go over what assets you need to create and how you can organically spread the word about your launch.
And of course, I’ll share some tips & advice on how to stay consistent so you can continue to grow!

I’m not sure I’m ready for the time commitment. Are you sure this program is manageable? The simple answer is YES! One of the best parts of taking a live online course is that we hold each other accountable and we see progress each and every week. You’ll also have access to all of the calls and resources for up until 6 months after the program so you can rewatch at your own pace. The community group chat will be available to you daily for support along the way!
I have no podcasting experience. Will this course be too advanced for me? Absolutely not! Whether you have zero knowledge of how to start a podcast or you know the basics, this course is designed to teach you every single thing you need to know to get your podcast off the ground and running.
How is this program delivered? This course will be delivered as a live webinar hosted by myself every Tuesday night at 8:00pm EST starting with the first call on Tuesday, May 4th running through Tuesday, June 8th. Each webinar will run for an hour and then immediately following the lesson we’ll go straight into a group Q&A where you can ask as many questions as you’d like. If you’re unable to make the calls live, no worries! You can submit your questions to me in advance so I can address them and you’ll have access to my course platform where you can rewatch the calls and review any additional support documents.
When I join this program, will I get access to all of the lessons and modules up front? The lessons will be delivered live each Tuesday and recordings will go up in your course platform the following morning.
Will I need to purchase any other products or platforms to coincide with this program? This is entirely optional. I will be sharing different podcasting equipment and services at varying price points. Some services I’ll be recommending are free to use. Purchasing additional equipment or software is up to you!
How long will we have access to the lessons and modules after the program ends? Students will have access to all of the lessons and support documents up until six months after the launch date (May 4th, 2021). All of the videos and support documents will be downloadable as well!
How much access will we have to ask you questions along the way? I will be in the community group chat on a daily basis answering questions (along with the rest of our students) and I will also be hosting weekly live Q&A sessions at the end of each call to tackle any questions you may have.
